*Where do I locate the home lpg gas detector?

1.The LPG  Gas detector should be placed low down on a wall or panel within 300mm of the floor and within 2 to 4 metres of the appliance or gas source.

2.The natural gas leak detector should be placed about 300mm below the ceiling and within 2 to 4 metres of the appliance or gas source.

*The following locations should be avoided.

1.Areas subject to strong ventilation such as open windows, exhaust fans etc

2.Areas subject to moisture.

3.Areas where the detector is covered or blocked from clean air.

4.Areas involving high temperatures or excessive amounts of smoke.
